Focus, Communicate, Reduce Stress, Balance Your Life ... We have schedule a "Motivational Speaker" for Friday evening, June 13, 2008, 6-8 PM (snacks provided). Christine Mann, who specializes in Life Coaching for the Equestrian, is a motivational speaker in the business and equine world. Her winning strategies to enhance your performance, will be very helpful for all of us headed into show season, or just in our daily routines. What a great week of weather during school vacation week. Gaetana D’Alesio-Spina returned victorious in the Morgan Jr. Exhibitor English Pleasure and Jr. Exhibitor English Pleasure Championship and was Reserve Champion in the AMHA Saddleseat Medal. More photos coming soon!!! Chris & Larry received honors for the Horse Show of the Year Award, Chairing last year’s UPHA-14 Spring Premiere Horse Show and Symphony Event. Chris was "thrilled" to be the final bidder on the Farrier’s Challenge, winning the work of art by RI Farrier, Sean Travers (who Chris has known for many, many years). Sean made this exquisite, one-of-a-kind table from the shoes worn by the current Horses & Pony of the Year. He also incorporated the specialty medallions used in last year’s 25th anniversary show as part of the design. Friday evening this year was dedicated to "Ride for the Cure" to raise money & awareness for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research. Breast Cancer Survivors, including our own Chris McDermott and Connie D’Alesio made presentations in center ring on Friday evening!!! "It’s Me and my Feet!" Says our Victoria McKillop who made the front page of the Georgetown Record in her quest to continue to raise funds for the Half Iron Man Marathon to raise money to end Stroke!!! We are all behind her to move forward but still need to raise more money by May 15th!!! Please go to her website and make a donation for her?! Thanks!!! "Rocky" (Rockingham Pride) celebrated his 30th Birthday with long time student and "admirer" Carol Depetrillo!!! Carol brought him a lovely basket full of horse "goodies" ... looks like Rocky’s checking it all out!!! Rocky was bred by Ron & Jane Boucher, Rockingham Morgans, Deerfield, NH. He has been a "top" lesson horse at Chrislar Farm ... well, he still is!!! We had a huge 30th birthday party for him ... he said he will remain a spry 29 yrs old for the rest of his life!!! Chris to Judge at Morgan Grand National & World Championship Horse Show Chris will return to judge the prestigious Morgan Grand National & World Championship Horse Show in October in Oklahoma City!! This event is the "Olympics" of what we do in our Morgan Competitions!!! Chris will also be judging in New Brunswick, Canada in July and at Lancaster Fair in NH. Star Search for those interested in the World of Morgan Competition Chrislar is on a "STAR SEARCH" for upcoming riders interested in the World of Morgan Competition, or riders who are currently competing and want to take that next step to a higher level!!! Chrislar has two "fancy" and BIG Morgan Hunter Pleasure horses available for lease to show at those large All-Morgan Shows!!! Other horses may become available in the future. CONGRATULATIONS TO Mary Ann Folan on her purchase of "Bonnie Blue Elegance". Mary Ann will continue her training and riding under the direction of Chrislar Farm. Lindsay will continue to enjoy her trail riding, lessons and shows under the direction of Chrislar Farm.
